How much is Stellenbosch’s application fee for 2024?

R100

Stellenbosch University does not have an application fee for South African applicants from Quintile 1-4 schools and for international applicants. Applicants from Quintile 5 schools are required to pay an application fee of R100.

How long does it take for Stellenbosch to respond to your application?

After submitting your application, you will receive an email within fourteen (14) days to let you know whether your application was complete and accepted, or if you need to resubmit.

Who qualifies for postgraduate?

Most types of postgraduate qualifications will include taught and research elements. Normally, to study for a postgraduate qualification, you will need to have a bachelor’s degree at 2:2 level or above.

How long is a master’s degree at Stellenbosch University?

Answer: The actual duration depends entirely on your own effort and commitment. On average, it takes about three years to complete a Master’s degree if you study part-time. To complete a PhD degree part-time will take about five to six years. Full-time students usually complete their studies in shorter time periods.
