University of Kwazulu Natala Student Prospectus Fees

South African students must pay an initial minimum tuition fee of R4 170 to register and the R250 Acceptance of Offer fee is included in this amount for first-year students.

The required 2023 registration fees are as follows: Tuition: R4,350. Residence: R3,380.

A non-refundable application application form fee is payable on submission of the application form. SA applicants on-time R210

No late international applications accepted.

Can you register at UKZN without paying the registration fee?

Yes, registration fees are payable by all students who wish to register at the beginning of each academic year before registration can be finalized. 

Students who are funded by NSFAS are not required to pay a registration fee.
